Pro plan — full control over every colour
Financial charts appear in contexts with very different visual requirements. A dark dashboard for internal analysis needs different styling than a chart embedded in a light-themed newsletter. A research report destined for print needs clean contrast and no dark backgrounds. A client presentation needs to match corporate branding. One chart style does not fit all.
Most charting tools offer minimal or no control over appearance. You get the tool's default colours whether you like them or not. Some enterprise tools offer theming but gate it behind six-figure contracts. The result: finance professionals either accept mismatched charts or spend engineering time on custom styling.
Quadesto gives every user access to 11 built-in themes covering the most common contexts — dark themes for screen-based work, light themes for print and email. Pro users get full control over every colour in the theme, matching charts to their brand without touching code. The theme applies to everything: chart backgrounds, axes, gridlines, tooltips, panel headers, and the attribution bar on embeds.
For dashboards and internal analysis: Dark Premium or Midnight Blue. Dark backgrounds reduce eye strain in long analysis sessions and make chart colours pop. These are the standard in trading floors and research desks for a reason.
For newsletters and blog embeds: Match the publication. Most finance newsletters use dark themes — Dark Premium or Emerald Dark work well. If the publication is light-themed, use Light Classic. The embedded chart should feel native to the page, not like a foreign widget.
For presentations and reports: Light Classic or Light Blue for printed materials. Dark Premium or Arctic for on-screen presentations. Always test at the actual display resolution — what looks crisp on a Retina display may look different on a projector.
For branded content: Create a custom theme (Pro) that matches your brand colours exactly. Set the accent colour to your primary brand colour, the background to match your site, and the text colours for readability. Once saved, it's available in every workspace.
